GOOD NEWS!!!!! The County of Greenville treated the area around the Seattle Slew DetentionPond on 6/15/09 for mosquitos! So we should have a break from them for awhile. If there are any other problem areas, please let an HOA Board Member know.

Recent Events
I am sure you are all aware of the tragic event this past weekend. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Bardsley family at this time. Your HOA board has begun to contact the appropriate people to express our desire for a barricade of some sort on Roe Ford to protect our neighborhood. Should you have any insight or wish to help in these efforts, please do contact us ASAP. We are all aware of how the curcumstances of these tragic incidents can become clouded and we ask that we do our best to speak in fact and try to not fuel the speculation. Should you have facts from the evening you wish to share, please contact the appropriate authority as the HOA will not be involved with the legal pieces of this incident. Our efforts wil be focused on prevention. We will keep you all updated on progress towards a guard rail or barrier.
Flowers at the Entrance
I hope you all have noticed the new flowers planted in front of the waterfall recently. In an effort to save money on our landscaping bill, we would like to introduce to the community the opportunity to sponsor the flowerbed at the entrance for a month. For March, we should all thank our neighbor Heather Monroe-Elledge and her husband Thomas. The flowers look fantastic! Please contact us if you are interested in sponsoring the entrance flowers or if you have other suggestions for making our entrance look nice. When you sponsor the entrance wa ask that you also do the planting if you are able. The Board is excited about this new way to get involved ith your commuty and hope to hear from many of you. As always, we are here for any questions you may have.
Our District #19 Councilman Willis Meadows
Diane Manzi has e-mailed Councilman Meadows to see what resources he has to offer Churchill Falls as a community and will get back to all of our residents with her findings
